Currently, the information our Data API provides on overdraft is limited. On Friday June 15th, we released new overdraft field on the /balance endpoint to give you consistent overdraft information across all our supported providers.
The available field now returns the available balance, including the overdraft amount. This may cause changes to the values returned from Nationwide and Barclays providers as they don’t currently include overdraft in available balance. For example, if the available balance is £10 and overdraft £100, available field will now return £110. We do not expect integrations with any other banks to change the values returned for existing fields.
The overdraft field is available for all TRANSACTION and BUSINESS_TRANSACTION account types, with the exception of Monzo, Santander and OpenBanking providers.
