TrueLayer might ask you if you are regulated for providing AIS (Account Information Services) or PIS (Payment Initiation Services), the reason being that it will determine our position and the product schedule we provide to you.
If you are already regulated for these products, we would act as a technology partner and would not be responsible for your compliance and regulatory status.
To be regulated, you will need to hold PSD2 permission for AIS/PIS from your home state regulator.
Regulators per country
|Spain||Banco de España|
If you provide services in more than one country, you need to be regulated by your home state regulator and you are required to have passporting rights to the rest of the countries you are servicing.
I am not regulated, what should I do?
Non-regulated PIS clients should follow our PIS consent screens requirements. See more details in the article Payment user interface guidance - information requirements
Non-regulated AIS clients should use our auth dialog v3. If you haven't upgraded, please follow the instructions from the article I'm upgrading to auth dialog v3, what do I need to know?
